Veiw Our Stage Plot

Zydecoal's minimum acceptable stage set up is as described above. Promoter provided PA systems should be of adequate power and include a delay or reverb and  an operator. .  The shaded areas are instrument mikes or D.I.'s.  Shure SM57's or 58's may substitute for the D.I.'s.  Vocals, Accordion, Keyboards and Guitar are all that is needed  in the monitor mix for smaller shows.  Drums should be a five piece kit of professional quality with a crash, ride and hi-hat cymbal set up on a firm  carpeted 6X6 area. Bass amp  should be a 4- 10“ or 1 (or 2)-15” cabinet and an a appropriate amp head. Guitar and keyboard amps should be tube type (I.E. Fender Twin)   Accordion will use the monitors with a Lo-Z pickup. accordion should have his own monitor mix. Keyboard and guitar amps will be elevated and angled up.  Keyboard amp is also used for mandolin, fiddle, harmonica and a second guitar. Keyboard will also use monitors with a DI. In shorter shows, the keyboard itself may be eliminated, but the amp will still be used for other instruments   A sound check is highly recommended.    Lighting should be bright enough for the performers to see. Monitors should be of good quality and able to reproduce vocals accurately above stage amp levels. Performers should not have to adjust their stage volume down to hear monitors.   Each performer requires one power strip to run amps and effects and AC power must be available within reach.  Unless otherwise instructed, Zydecoal will bring only their instruments.  Positions are the same if Zydecoal provides backline or backline and drums. Please specify backline requirements in contract. Miking amps and drums is optional in smaller venues.  Zydecoal is flexable concerning substutions on equipment but the above described set up will provide the best sound for your audience
